That's the way Brooklyn has been playing for a while now, and the roster turnover didn't change much.

Pile up of injuries already. Hayward, Lin ruptured a tendon and is done for the year, Draymond hurt his knee, Paul got hurt.

Tonight should be a snooze-fest. OKC will blow out the Knicks. At least there's the Melo Revenge Game narrative. Will be semi-interesting to see if Russ has any interest in playing team basketball with Melo and George when he didn't with KD and Ibaka. Toronto will smoke the hapless Bulls who are dressing like 13 guys, 6 of whom are bad PG. The two LA teams face off. Who shoots the ball for the Clips? Gallinari? Watching Blake chuck threes would get old really quick. Might be fun to see Pat Beverly fluster Lonzo Ball all night long with his stellar D and to see how the BSOHL/Chip-on-Shoulder thing surrounding Randle plays out.

The Chik-fil-a thing is at all arenas. I was fortunate enough to go to Clippers, Bulls, Bucks*, Pacers and Hornets home games last year and every one, in the 4th Quarter, when an opposing team missed the first FT some Chicken stuff would come on the jumbotron and the runner ads along the tiers of seats and the home fans would get noisy. Pretty fun promo in that it ties the game to the promo.

*Anyone who lives within an easy enough drive to Milwaukee should absolutely go see a game now while tickets are cheap because Giannis is worth the price of admission plus some. I did a few games last year and am doing the 12-game flex plan this year since I can get home before midnight usually after a game. Giannis is awesome, and watching him is like watching the first few years of Pujols when you're like...oh crap this guy might be the best RH hitter of my lifetime. Giannis is fun. It's like watching a guy you know is going to be a Hall Of Famer when he's dominant but still learning what all he cn do on the court. Everyone go see Giannis in the flesh.
