You guys aren't talking about Keisler Soza are you?
You mean Kaiser Soeze?

I guess so. Damn it man! I've only heard the dude's name. I've never seen it spelled before.

Then again, maybe I'm confusing him with the guy who wrote all those marches with the Marine Corps Band. What was that guy's name again?

I wonder why Cate got passed over today. I was looking forward to seeing what he could do.

All that in smallish to tiny samples in the bigs where he has walked a ridiculous amount of hitters (79 in 133 IP). He was the Yankees minor league player of the year in 2000, and has a 3.71 ERA in 162 MiLB appearances (136 starts).

He's just your Memphis rotation filler and maybe 7th-8th starter, possible loogy if that becomes necessary at whatever point in the year. Also, he could allow us to deal from a relative position of surplus in our bullpen if some sort of trade is made.

He's on a split contract, by the way.

Top 8TH B:0 S:0 O:0
Defensive Substitution: Gary Bennett replaces right fielder Skip Schumaker, batting 1st, playing catcher.

Top 8TH B:0 S:0 O:0
Miguel Negron remains in the game as the right fielder.

Top 8TH B:0 S:0 O:0
Pitcher Change: Brian Falkenborg replaces Ricardo Rincon.

I'm heading to the gym if someone else could take over that'd be swell.

Funny note from another ST game going on right now:

The Astros hit 2 home runs (so far) today; one off Ray King and the other off Jason Simontacchi.

Nationals lead, however, 7-5 in the 8th.
