He scares me less than reyes.

He might have caught it if he hadn't...then he fell down and the ball got away on top of it. Just poorly played all around.
I don't think I've ever seen Taguchi make a play on the wall. That's not a knock on his overall defense, which is fine, but he's just never been able to make the flashy play around the wall. We're definitely spoiled with Edmonds. I expect all our OF'ers to make catches around the wall.

Hopefully Carpenter will settle in sometime soon, but it's hard to expect too much on the first couple starts of the season. They're going to be inconsistent. That was a pretty bad sequence to Reyes.

Carpenter was bad last Opening Day, so if he can settle down and get through this, I'll be happy.

We're buried. That was an excellent pitch, and Lo Duca gets one of his patented fluke hits.

This is going to be the season isn't it?

5-0 now and Carpenter doesn't have it.

That was pretty ugly...give the Mets credit though for not trying to do too much with any of those pitches. They have a good lineup.

It looks like a replay of the NLCS. I think we know now that Carpenter can't beat the Mets.

I'm almost never a fan of walking the bases loaded.
