Is Kinney still on the 40-man? I assume that Narvy would clear waivers again, but perhaps the Nats would go after him.Phyrkrakr wrote:I'm pretty sure Hawksworth is on the 40 man roster, something Keisler and Narveson aren't. Carpenter sent home (per Bernie per Strauss)

According to the team website, Keisler is on the 40-man. If Narveson needed to be added, Kinney could get jestitioned to the 60-day DL.Phyrkrakr wrote:I'm pretty sure Hawksworth is on the 40 man roster, something Keisler and Narveson aren't. Keisler actually is listed on the 40-man roster at MLB.com. Hard to believe that he actually had an option left.Phyrkrakr wrote:I'm pretty sure Hawksworth is on the 40 man roster, something Keisler and Narveson aren't. I believe Narveson would be a free agent if they sent him back down.

Believe it or not that's not uncommon with an ACL tear..jim wrote:Hard telling. I learned the hard way with my son that serious injuries can not look so bad at first. He tore his ACL in his knee and not only walked off the field, but returned to the game for a couple of plays.Dwtlr wrote:What kind of elbow injury allows you to pitch a side session at game velocity with no pain to the point of declaring yourself fit shortly after the session?
My guess is a 21-day stint on the DL with anti-inflammatories, rest, etc...miss a month total before trying a rehab start or two at Memphis..and if all goes well is back mid-May..
Don't assume anything. It could be nothing, it could be very serious.
Let's wait for the doctors before we start guessing.
My comment simply had to do with the ability to throw on consecutive days with no pain...seemed odd to me..
