I can be painfully honest when assessing a team, and I can come across as a doomsday sort of person pointing out the negatives. But when I do that, I see a range of scenarios and will openly discuss all of them. Yeah, we could end up with 70 wins, but I thought we had that potential (worst case maybe) before the season started. We could also end up on top of this division, even with the events that have transpired.
I firmly believe that. It's not likely, but it's not hopeless by a long stretch.
My advice: Don't give up. Way too early for that.
