That's what I took it to mean when it says 11 MPH Nobucard wrote:Wouldn't it be easier to say the wind is blowing south?mikechamp wrote:That's the case when the wind is coming from the N?Transmogrified Tiger wrote:That means the wind is blowing out to left center.mikechamp wrote:I hope we keep making Edmonds look as lost as he appeared in the series in STL.
And someone asked about the wind: Weather Channel says 12 MPH out of the N. That means blowing in from LF, right?

It seems the Cards always lose the first game against the Cubs, I hope they can change that today.

Well, I'll just add MLB Gameday's take to add to the confusion:

Why do I have the feeling that having a LF inexperienced with the winds of Wrigley is going to come back to bite us today?

Looks like you're right then. Saying the source of the wind instead of what direction it's going seems odd to me.

Pregame quotes from NSBB
Ryan Ludwick and Rick Ankiel picked the wrong weekend to misplace their HGH stash.
OK Cubs, it's time to stick a fork in these turkeys. BEAT THESE BUMS.
And somebody "Seconded" that last quote. Can we please throw a couple high and tight pitches to Ludwick in this series?

No, I'd rather it be Schumaker with Ankiel in CF, but looks like I'll have to wait until tomorrow for that.obucard wrote:Would you rather it be Lopez?mikechamp wrote:Why do I have the feeling that having a LF inexperienced with the winds of Wrigley is going to come back to bite us today?
