Bolton's Hot chicken for me baby if im going fast food anymore.

My fave's outside of that are Chik-Fil-A (glad there isnt one near my house or id be 300 pounds), Taco Bell (that volcano sauce is the best), and Wendy's (that spicy chicken with ketchup only though).

I recently had Burger King--got their chicken nuggets and spent the entire night vomiting. I havent vomited since college---hate it---so you know it was bad if im barfing it all up.

I'm not sure if it was the nuggets or the honey mustard sauce and/or ranch dipping sauce they gave me (i asked for BBQ sauce) that did it. Regardless wont be eating BK again for quite some time.

I don't really do fast food much anymore though--if im eating something quick, itll probably be bolton's, as mentioned, or a sando--most likely Jersey Mikes. Or ill order a pizza.

Best thing about White Castle is Slider stuffing. Kid you not, it's unbelievably good. Yes - the stuffing that goes into the turkey - made with sliders. So good.

I'm honestly surprised I'm not hearing the love for BK. They stand above the crowd for me.

BK burgers are good, but my last experience ruined it for me. and it was probably my own fault for ordering chicken nuggets there, but i just had a craving for them.

I kid you not, in Columbia SC every Chik-Fil-A you drive past will have roughly 50 or more cars there. Literally every parking space in the entire lot will be full and the drive-thru lane (or lanes) willl be completely backed up all the way around the building and out of the parking lot onto the road itself.

It is truly a marvel to behold. I'm not even talking lunch or dinner rush hour times. If you drive past at off-peak hours like 2:30pm, there will still be 50+ vehicles there. It is [expletive] nuts.
I was in SC over Thanksgiving and was blown away by the fact that 3 out of 4 fast food chains are fried chicken places. Maybe that's hyperbole, but still... Bojangles, Zaxby's, and Chik-Fil-A are copious down there. And since I'd never been to Bojangles or Zaxby's, I gave them both a shot. Bojangles was ok, but I don't feel the need to go back. I thought it was pretty comparable to Church's or Lee's in that regard. Zaxby's, on the other hand... I loved the hell out of that.

Culver's and Wendy's are my kings of fast food, in that order. Culver's has cheese curds, for [expletive]'s sake! How is that not EVERYONE'S top of the list?

Then there's a big middling mass of stuff that I'm ok with- Hardee's, BK, Jack in the Crack, Taco Smell, DQ...

White Castle and McDonald's are my bottom of the barrel. I like the McDonald's breakfast stuff, but the McD's lunch/dinner items actually started making me ill. I pretty much have to be blackout drunk to eat White Castle.
Seriously. They're everywhere.

God I miss Bojangles. The best thing on their menu is the Chicken Rice Bowl. Carb overload - a couple heapings of their fantastic dirty rice followed by a couple heapings of their cajun pinto beans followed by a bunch of pieces of grilled chicken, then a bunch of shreeded cheese sprinkled on top. I do believe that is my #1 fast food dish of all time, but sadly I think the "nearest" Bojangles to the Twin Cities is probably Tennessee.

And Zaxby's, [expletive] they have Si from Duck Dynasty doing their commercials. Pretty entertaining when he chucks darts randomly behind his head at a wall and Martin just keeps saying, "You hit Zaxby's again. Not sure how you do it every single time, Si..."

I had severe food poisoning from BK which had me go to the ER while ruining my hiking trip two years ago. [expletive] Burger King.

Chicken places are all the rage now. I thought it may have just been an Arkansas thing with Tyson being here and chicken farms seemingly everywhere. But, I guess not. I would guess, and have no proof, that chicken is cheaper than beef and is easier to manipulate than beef (wings, tenders, breaded, grilled, sauces go better with them, etc etc etc) vs a burger. Plus it is seemingly a healthier option.

Not to mention, chickfila is advertising for all chicken places with their "Eat more chicken" slogan.

I'm hoping the fried chicken revolution happens in St. Louis at the same level that the BBQ joints have reached.

I need to stop by that new place in Maplewood.

Since we are on the subject of chicken--id like to rant about the new item on O'Charley's menu they are advertising--"Nashville Hot Chicken".

What they are serving is *not* hot chicken. Hot chicken is not slathered in a spicy sauce, hot chicken is more of a rub. Don't let them fool you.

It's funny too, bc ocharleys is headquartered in nashville. dumbasses

Will see if Dairy Queen becomes a bigger player in FF since Warren Buffett purchased it.

I don't like DQ ice cream -odd consistency and bland. Haven't tried their food much.

Mcdonald's use to be same from store to store. I have a couple I'll trust.

I forget about Lion's Choice -they are probably my #1 FF. QuikTrip - good genre bender.
