While I'm pretty pumped for guys like Gordon and Goodwin, they're going to need guys like Thatch. I don't think any of the guys from SLU's 2013-2014 run were any higher than ***, but they were high-energy guys that benefited from great coaching. That's where the jury is still out on Ford.
Kid was Class 4 player of the year...as a sophomore. And he's so much better than I ever thought he'd be already. His work ethic is unbelievable, and his coach makes sure he's a model citizen on the court. I was hoping to watch him tomorrow night again, but I'll have to wait until Saturday.

Here's another thing that shows how good he's been this year. His worst game was likely against Chaminade this year. They've got 6 guys that are over 6'6" with one at 6'11". Their gameplan was to stop Thatch. He still got 19 pts, 8 reb, 5 asst, 3 stl.

That's a pretty good result against the best team in the state.

There is some competition for that spot in Mo this year.

I don't follow much outside of SEMO. Who else is up there with them? They're soft defensively, but so, so talented and deep.

Probably Arkansas.
Just remembered I posted this.

It's so weird how Anderson has been mediocre at Arkansas. I didn't think they were going to become 1b to Kentucky's 1a, but at Mizzou, they at least turned into a consistent tourney team.

WG just beat Illinois' top ranked 3A team. SLUH is very good. Vashon.

It has been absolutely mind boggling to me. I watched Mike and UAB and Mizzou and longed for that at UA. It has just blown my mind.
