Your self-assuredness about things which you cannot be assured does not make you smarter. And in fact, it does the opposite.
I think it’s very likely that Pujols took PED’s. And that it may have something to do with his health issues.

Don't care one way or another what you think.
It's pretty obvious Pujols PED'd it up. Fascinated some are still kidding themselves is all.

Would be cool if we could have a thread about that Gorman kid that's tearing it up at Peoria. I hear he's pretty good.

Two homer game on Monday and walking some too.
Looks like he is transitioning to high-A just fine. AA/AAA next year... call up for the playoffs in 2019?

I legitimately think he could be the best Cardinals prospect since Albert. Better than Reyes, better than OT.

Only until the Malcom Nunez train hits the US for a barnstorming tour beginning in 2019.MrCrowesGarden wrote:I legitimately think he could be the best Cardinals prospect since Albert. Better than Reyes, better than OT.
Seriously though, there are quite a lot of position prospects in the pipeline that could be very good players. They're mostly a ways off, but we haven't had this kind of potential depth on that side in quite a while. Unfortunately, the pitching is taking a step back but hopefully the young MLB guys can hold the fort for a year or two until some more guys step up.

Re: The Nolan Gorman Mega Thread
His stats are nutz, haha. He leads the DSL in average (.419) by 53 points, OBP (.505) by 38 points and slugging (.781) by 180 points. It appears as though no one who was qualified has slugged as high as even .650 since 2005, and he's obliterated that. He's had a mere 1 error in 246 innings at 3rd so far, and he's known for having a strong throwing arm. Oh, and he doesn't turn 18 until next March.
I know this is a Gorman thread but if Nunez gets to the US next year, and there is no reason he shouldn't...there will be a thread on him showing up here for sure.
