I think he sounded like a guy who just had a real busy day and wants to play some ball. I didn't read much into it other than that.

Yea, he sounded like a guy that had to find his way from New York to Philly on a Friday at the last minute and literally changed into his new uniform on his way to the press room


Tony mentions that ppl who will lose at bats to him are also excited, I take it Ankiel is excited that the team will be more competitive.

Anybody get a pic of him in his Cards gear. For some reason I had no video and it kept freezing.

I wouldn't say he seemed less than enthused. I'd say he seems like he just rode on a train for an hour or so with a pregnant wife and two young kids after finding out just a couple hours before he'd been traded from the West Coast to the Midwest while on the East Coast. Probably just overwhelmed.
