This clip of snakes chasing a baby iguana was on Planet Earth recently. It's fantastic. I'm always amazed at the footage they get for nature shows.

If you:
a) enjoyed and miss Hannibal
or
b) like horror TV shows but have Walking Dead fatigue
or
c) grew up Catholic and like horror
you kind of owe it to yourself to check out The Exorcist. It's kind of amazing what they can get away with for a network TV show (which ultimately is why I compared it to Hannibal... it's not on Hannibal's level of beautifully shot gore or intense subtext).
And there's also Stan vs. Evil and Ash vs. the Evil Dead, which are basically the same show. But both fun as hell.

Speaking of Horror TV, I don't think I've ever seen a show devolve as badly as the strain. That show is so bad.

Yeah, it really is. I'm still enjoying it mostly because I've read the books (which are tons better, BTW), but it's really terrible TV. For whatever level of enjoyment I have, I would never try to defend it as something people should watch.

I had to quit last season. It was a struggle to figure out which character I cared about. Fet maybe and the old man.thrill wrote:Speaking of Horror TV, I don't think I've ever seen a show devolve as badly as the strain. That show is so bad.

The Double Dare 30 year reunion special is tonight on Nickelodeon.
It's only a half hour so decent chance it's a turd.

I have been kind of watching it. I need to go back and actually watch them all. I've generally had it on while doing something else and haven't paid enough attention to it (like just about everything else) but I have liked what I have seen so far. At least enough to decide that I need to go back and really watch to see if I missed anything. And I have probably missed plenty.stlouie_lipp wrote:Is anyone watching People of Earth?

TWD answering the burning question: what have Tara and Heath been up to?
Ugh.
Ugh.
