NFL investigator Ted Wells' report on the Miami Dolphins' bullying scandal concluded that Richie Incognito, John Jerry and Mike Pouncey engaged in a pattern of harassment directed at not only Jonathan Martin, but another young Dolphins offensive lineman and an assistant trainer.

Half of Deadspin's front page today is stories about this. Result: real bad, even worse than we originally heard.

Well, nothing surprising on the Richie front - bad as expected, like a 12 year old boy hepped up on Mountain Dew and porn -only exponentialized with $, fame/power that comes with being in NFL, roids etc.. The golf tourney sexual harassment is interesting - since that involves a party outside the NFL - something more could come of it.

The report info does explain Martin some -How he texted some support of Richie, played it down. Embarrassed by his own involvement obviously. He definitely seems like a vulnurable character. Classic bully predator tactics by the juvenile Richie --occasionally friend it up with Martin and implicating him with the Vegas shenanigans.

I don't think Incognito plays in the NFL again,.... or not?

I honestly don't know what to think about this - there are so many NFL players with questionable (even criminal) pasts that it's hard to predict. Incognito's definitely got an uphill battle, so I hope all of the "harmless taunting" was worth it to him. He seems like a complete [expletive].

The stuff about the Japanese assistant trainer was particularly disturbing to me, and the report indicates that he was scared to answer any questions about the treatment he endured. That the trainer felt obligated to put up with it/stay quiet because 1) he was afraid of retaliation from the players and 2) he was afraid he'd lose his job if he brought everything to light is beyond ridiculous. That's some kind of culture they fostered in Miami.

Also, Jim Turner is a douche. He encouraged Martin to "be a man" and "do the right thing" by issuing a statement in support of Incognito when he was getting skewered in the press, but when asked about all of these incidents by the investigators he simply said he couldn't remember if any of it happened. Right, real men totally shy away from taking responsibility for their mistakes. Coward.

If Incognito ever ends up in prison, I kinda doubt he'll ever get out.

Interpret that however you want.

I don't think the NFL would want the bad pub that Incognito would cause if he took the field again.
