I hope not, since we should be in front of them in the human polls, and they barely beat an awful Louisville team at home this week. They could pass us before the KU game, but there's no way in the world they stay in front of us if we were to beat KU, even moreso if we were to beat OU.

I hope not, since we should be in front of them in the human polls, and they barely beat an awful Louisville team at home this week. They might pass us before the KU game, but there's no way in the world they stay in front of us if we were to beat KU, even moreso if we were to beat OU.

I can agree with that. I wonder if we'll even move ahead of Ohio State in the human polls. Bias may keep that from happening.

I'm hoping that the one-to-one comparison of us beating Illinois at a neutral site and OSU losing to Illinois at home, combined with the fact that OSU hasn't beaten anyone worthwhile, is enough to move us past them.

I don't think there'll be much problem in dropping OSU below us in the BCS. We're both 1-loss teams. We lost to Oklahoma (#4 in the BCS now) in Norman; they lost to unranked Illinois at home. The shortest fall I can see for OSU is to slot in at number five, keeping Mizzou at number six. In my uneducated guess of where they will fall, I would say OSU would slot into the rankings between West Virginia/Mizzou (who will end up 5th and 6th in some order) and Boston College/Arizona State.

The BCS poll hasn't been released yet has it? Mizzou was behind WV in the AP poll last week, but ahead of them in the BCS rankings. I'd imagine that to stay the same and Mizzou will be 5th in the BCS poll.

Yeah, the human voters are dumb and think West Virginia is better. That's fine, but the BCS doesn't come out for another half hour or so, but I think it'll go:

1. Oregon
2. LSU
3. Kansas
4. Oklahoma
5. Missouri
6. West Virginia
7. Ohio State

Kevin Slaten is going to be fuming tomorrow. I might actually tune in to see how he spins the latest Missouri win.
