Call me stupid (or naive) but how could his name even appear on the ballot? Can a convicted felon hold office? Or has he just not been found guilty as of yet.
I heard that two dead men got elected, one was in Alabama and the other in Florida (I think).

Earl K. Wood - Florida, Democrat running for tax collector of Orange Co. died of natural causes in Oct., too late to remove his name from the ballot. He was 96 YEARS OLD.
Charles Beasley - Alabama, Republican running for county commisioner, he was 77 years old.
