I don't know, but I'd really like to know if she moved to Scottsdale with her parents.
She looks Scottsdale'd for certain. Until Brenda Warner I was unaware of this phenomenon.

I'm gonna check out some bars up in their area this weekend. That'd be diabolical.

What have you seen so far today, and what are you going to take away from your visit?
And no, she did not get things right at all. Stop being apologists for an absolute moron.
I may have gotten myself into an argument with a friend of a friend on facebook. I had made a joke about Paul Revere ringing a bell to warn the British that the colonists were coming to defend the second amendment which hadn't been written yet. Some guy tells me that Palin was right. I acknowledge that Palin can be picked on by the media sometimes (trying to diffuse the situation) but she was mostly wrong and I post a link from a WashPost fact check. He argues the liberal media is wrong and Palin is right. Unfortunately, I continue to engage and tell him it's not media bias it's historical fact. I also point out that the link explains she's about 1/5 correct. When eventually arrested, Revere did warn the British who held him that the Americans were coming. However, that was not the intention of his ride. I hope this guy lets it drop, because I'm not the type to let it go when I know I'm right. Luckily I don't know this guy and I'll likely never see him. Obviously we don't run in the same circles. (I prefer literate.)

When I visited the Revere House a few years ago, there was plenty of signage in and around the place to learn about the ride, his work as a smith, and his role in public affairs in Boston. She could have learned a thing or two if she'd tried to.

That's the most galling thing. She had spent all day "learning new stuff" about Paul Revere. I'm probably extrapolating too much from this, but the dismissive anti-intellectual cocksure attitude about their knowledge and opinions is just so typical of right-wing politics in this country. Their opinion is the only truth that matters regardless of fact.

I suspect her real function is a statement by the aristocracy that they could choose anyone to run or win any election and there is nothing The People can do to stop it.
