9 meetings scheduled today, only 8 attended due to a double-book. Tomorrow looks a little better, only 7 meetings. Overall 32 meetings this week, 11 of which I had to run. Not a bad week, for Monday and Tuesday being mostly open.

Next week looks great, only 12 meetings that I will be attending! Of course, I'm travelling Wednesday through Friday to attend just one of those meetings, but still not bad! Exactly 3.5 hours open on my calendar, including lunch breaks.

Meetings are great. I love them.

Some times I leave the office to go to a meeting with people who can actually fix things. I make sure I don't tell anyone what I'm doing.

Our first staff meeting since I got here was called the other day. The boss, who has had some serious personal issues recently, asked if I had the time available in 20 minutes. I said I can make it work then headed down to see if we had a flak jacket available. Instead I just took the seat by the exit.

We had an all-hands meeting and the main speaker sounded like this guy (audio only so not sure if he looks like him too)

Just had a meeting with the new Sales person for a company we buy from. She looks just like Leslie Bibb.

Good meeting.

Just had a meeting with a company who are changing their name by adding "Farms" to it. The focus group felt that the word farm and a picture of the farm and farmers "creates warmth and invites engagement. 3 farmers communicate family and family values." an actual quote from a focus group member - "This package changed my mind about purchasing. The Farmers drew me in and made me want to buy it."

Dreamer - you are a rock-star and didn't even know it!

I have to capitalize on this.
