Cardinals pitching prospect Rob Kaminsky held Dunedin to six hits and one run Tuesday in a win for High-A Palm Beach.
The seven-inning outing was his longest of the season. 11 of the 21 outs he recorded came on ground balls. In a bizarre statistical anomaly, Kaminsky has finished with exactly five strikeouts in seven of his last eight starts. The ultra-consistent right-hander now owns a sparkling 2.42 ERA in 67 innings this season. He's been especially sharp this month with a 1.50 ERA in three June starts.
