Good call on Lion's Choice. It's expensive though and I feel like I could eat 3-4 of those roast beef sandwiches no problem. Plus it's hard not to get Dirty Dogz or Hugo's wings in the area

Schnuck's has always had really good fried chicken for a good price

Yes to Culvers, JL. Butter burgers, cheese curds and frozen custard. Big thumbs up.

I've liked In n Out when on the west coast, but not a big enough sample size to outright endorse. I loved their fries made in store from real potatoes.

Dairy Queen. Good call, I love me some Brazier burgers. Highly under-rated, and I myself don't think about them enough to go there often.

That's the drawback. One sandwich isn't enough (the king size isn't any more beef from what I've seen-and it's oblong-shaped bun they use for King confuses me) 2 sandwiches puts me over $10, I think.

DQ chicken baskets are very solid. They used to occasionally be like $4 in college and I'd sometimes grab one.

That gravy cup was clutch.

Last two times I've gone to the Lion's Choice on Chippewa the meat has been really dry.

My Lion's Choice trips have turned into additional LeGrand's visits.

That was ultimately why I never wound up going to Lion's Choice, even though I liked it and it was nearby. If I was going to shoot done Chippewa, why not just go to LeGrand's?

I worked at DQ for a year in high school. Burgers are somewhere on par with BK. Chicken basket is easily the best food item on the menu.

I'm sorry you guys had bad BK experiences but also somewhat relieved to hear that it's not just me. I used to like BK. Esp the onion rings. They're crap, sure, but I liked them and I liked the Whopper.

But the last two times I've had BK I can remember the dates--Feb 6, 2009 and Feb 6, 2007. The 2007 one I was sick for 36 hours after. I remembered the date because of what else I was doing that night. Didn't eat BK for two years, then two years to the date later I remembered what I was doing two years before and also that BK made me sick and thought "That must be an outlier, you like BK, go back and give it another shot" and I spent the next day on the crapper.

These were different BKs BTW. So I've just kinda sworn off BK.
