He had some good games for LA, I saw some of those when I lived in So Cal, but kept coming up with arm issues and they figured he'd never be the pitcher they thought.
He's had some good games in the last month. So good to see him go 9 tonight. Man game!

Cardinals win as May throws a complete game on 101 pitches and gives a much needed day off to the bullpen. May had a 35% CStr+Whiff rate and a 55% Whiff rate on his sweeper. He improves to 5-6 on the season. Giolito takes the loss for the Padres and drops to 2-2.

Milwaukee is off today so that is a .5 game pickup.
Everyone else in the Central still playing.

And the Scrubbs left the bases loaded, without scoring. Caw Caw-Armstrong was picked off for the 1st out of the inning, good job hot dog.

PCA hit for the cycle in that game. To then get picked off because of his own stupidity shows all you need to know about him.
