Aaron Rodgers has a hairline fracture of his left wrist. It is considered 50-50 that he will play against the Bears. Apparently he can change the way he takes the ball from the center that would bypass the injury.

Tomorrow’s Packers-Vikings game and Steelers-Bears game both start at the same time as church, 10AM PST. It would be helpful to the Packers if the Steelers beat the Bears.

I just got home from church and the Packers lead the Vikings 17-6 in the third quarter and the Steelers lead the Bears 21-17 at halftime. Aaron Rodgers was listed as questionable and hasn’t played all game but his backup, Mason Rudolph is playing. Since I’m following both games I’m not going to post until the final score for both.

I was watching TV this morning when they showed a segment on an upcoming documentary on HBO about the 1985 Chicago Bears video “The Super Bowl Shuffle.” Among the things I learned: the video was filmed during the regular season (after a loss no less) and the song was nominated for a Grammy (losing to Prince, who was from Minnesota, which probably made Vikings fans happy).
