It's Punch Out. On the Wii. With pink jumpsuits and ethnic stereotypes and everything.

Basically, it's awesome.
Bought it on Friday. Too much fun.

so I'm reading Microsoft's big thing this year is motion detection with a camera...and no controller.

Could be interesting, though I imagine it will only work with those kinda party games I don't really place much. Maybe sports, though with sports it'd really probably only work well for rudimentary movements.

Interested to see it in action.

What would be more interesting is if this was just meant for games or for other real life purposes...time will tell I guess.

the Project Natal full body motion recognition controller stuff is impressive.

I think it'll still be niche (who's going to run around jumping and shooting in Halo with this?) but it looks pretty cool.

I pretty much agree. I think next gen is going to get motion control right. Reminds me of awkward 3D during the PS1 days.

I have to admit, the ball game tech demo they showed looked pretty fun. Again, not a fully fleshed out game, but a fun mini game a la Wii Sports, only with true one to one mapping.

They really could do some interesting fitness stuff with this since you do actually have to get up and move around.

My mind buzzes at an interactive golf game where I can pick up my personal clubs and play any course I wanted on my theater screen. The problem, of course, is whether or not the tech could accurately reproduce actual ball flight based on your actual swing.

Project Natal = EyeToy != Motion Control competitor.

Ok, ok. Project Natal = Souped Up EyeToy.
