The numbers don’t matter as they are a manufacturing a problem for followers to get outraged about in order to create an enemy.
It’s just really sad when the most vulnerable get picked on.

I believe this asshat is in this Titanic tourism sub that's missing. I can't believe they made it this long. The guy being interviewed, I mean. Asshat might be strong but it seems crazy to take anyone's money to ride in this thing.

I think I liked it better when the outrage machine of the week centered around things like Hilary's emails, or Obama's tan suit, or whether the M+Ms were too sexy or not sexy enough, or whatever outrageous thing a pop star said, and not an extremely marginalized minority population group for existing.
Umberto Eco: "the followers must be convinced that they can overwhelm the enemies. Thus, by a continuous shifting of rhetorical focus, the enemies are at the same time too strong and too weak.”"

I'd write something about how freedom of speech only ever goes one way for these people, but everyone's heard it a million times before. It's not just them, it's the press who don't care about the rights of trans people to simply exist, only the number of clicks they get, reporting on the "controversy", it's politicians who've never dared express an opinion other than a meaningless word jumble of god and family cliches, and the people in the middle of this are being abused and beaten up and denied a right to simply live their lives.

LOL...I know the guy in the darker blue shirt. The damage you see the rock thrower caused is not even the half of it.

People complain about the state of the media, but c’mon, find me a better headline than ‘Rock-Throwing Guy Who was Run Over by Golf Cart Identified.’

So does Mr. Vander-whatever need help? Is he mentally ok? One thing if its a drunken escapade or something. Another if he needs treatment for demons.
