Not as pun-tastic a name as my cat Yadier Miaow-lina, but he seems like a friendly chap.

Nice night out and the Big Galoot comes outside to hang with me at the firepit, then takes first opportunity to duck back in the house to sleep on some furniture. I come back in and heat up leftover BBQ and he's back to hanging with me.....
My Grandpa was right about dogs. Galoot is another "Sooner". Sooner eat and sleep than do anything.
Watch in private because you will probably cry. Guy adopts dog with girlfriend, girl dumps guy, guy and dog take off on adventures, guy gets cancer, dog never leaves his side, guy beats cancer, guy and dog take off on adventures, dog gets cancer, guy never leaves dog's side, dog dies and guy makes video tribute to dog.

I hadn't found any evidence of fleas on my dogs for several months since starting them on monthly pills but yesterday they were itching like crazy and today I saw a flea on the female so I gave them their pill two days early.

thrill is correct. My nephew posted it to FB with the caption "If this doesn't make you spend more time with your dog I don't know what will." Watched it and literally sobbed.

My dog would be sort of tired and bored about ten minutes into our first adventure, if experience is anything to go by.
Buzzfeed had an article about something similar, a guy who took his ill dog on all sorts of adventures - but it sounded much more like an advert for the guy, who was a "filmmaker", especially considering he'd put the dog up for adoption just before the article was published, so he had more time to go and make films.

I guess this is the thread to share our depressing dog news. I'm here procrastinating my call to vet for Mr Fuzzypants. He is suffering more than enjoying things now. an aforementioned of neuro problem -he can barely walk and has gotten worse. Now has skin abscess which vet says is probably cancerous and is driving him and us mad. Tapped out.
Hard part is that he still has an appetite and loves loves our company. When I grab the leash to take him - he will be excited to go.
Fuzzypants was a bit of a feisty ass when he was foisted upon us. The kid really worked with him, and made him into a sweet little guy.
Anyway, to better times.
