Have not watched any westworld seasons. I heard a review of recent season that intrigues me, while they say the prior were over the top with plot tricksterism.
I'd like to start with this new season, but wonder if anything will make sense.

The good news is that nothing on Westworld makes sense to anyone who's seen every episode, so you're at no real disadvantage.

You should probably watch The Tiger King. It is the densest, weirdest story--and well told. On Netflix.
It answers the question: what if that cult in rural Oregon was in Tampa, had tigers and represented a minor piece of the story that you more or less forget about by the end because of a thousand other fascinating things.

Thanks for that follow-up, ICE. The story is a tangled ball of Christmas lights.
I was sure something was up with the music, because the production was unexplainedly competent.
Glad to see the chompers on John.
I think Joe made out a little better than he probably should have in the doc, though it was still damning enough. You could tell the filmmaker was a bit caught up in--or at the very least, amused by him. The scene after the election comes to mind.

- I still can't believe that suicide scene. Insane. And the whole time I was wondering why that kid hadn't been interviewed.
