That blows for the team next year, but good luck to him.

I feel the exact same way I did when Gabbert left early for the NFL. I'm pulling for him but it seems pretty obvious that he's leaving too soon.

Will he even get drafted? It seems like he really struggled with shot selection.

It's a pretty weak draft, and Pressey is a lot better than he showed this past year for several reasons. I could see him becoming a late first rounder if he has a great couple months of workouts, and he could go undrafted if no one believes in his strengths enough. With his combination of speed and court vision/passing and a lack of great alternatives, I think you'll see him go in the 2nd round somewhere.

Maybe he's developed an outside shot in the past 3 weeks since MU got booted from the tourney.

Also, with his dad being an NBA assistant coach, I'd expect he's got access to better information than many potential draftees.

Told you guys this would happen.

I would still say he goes undrafted but it seems like he's pretty confident from the information he's gotten. The draft is kind of weak overall but is fairly deep at PG. There's 5-6 guys that are definitely going ahead of him and PG isn't really a big priority in the draft. I guess I could still see him going mid to late second. If not he can always make six figures in Europe.
