I have class tomorrow so the thought of potentially missing a game 7 in the world series annoys me.
I just realized I also have class tomorrow... yea, I hope they rain this 1 out.
What the [expletive] is wrong with you guys? It's called skipping class.
No [expletive]. What kind of schools are you going to?
Unfortunately it is exam night or else I would.

My class lets out at 6:30, so I don't think I could justify skipping, it's just that for game 7 I'd want to be downtown, so I'd want to head down at like 5.

I know that Wash said that, but that was before the rainout. He would have to be crazy to use Harrison over Holland knowing that one of them got shelled and the other through a shutout in their last appearances. At the very least if Harrison does get the hook early let Holland know he might be going into the game.

What's MLS ? Is that the bunch that fired Jerry Lewis?
Playoffs? Wow hard to believe another soccer season has come and gone. Seems like just yesterday they were playing with friends.
Jim, are you telling me you don't have the DVR set alread? Don't you want to see if Sigi and the boys in Seattle can end Beckham's stay in MLS with zero titles? Don't you want to see the dynamic matchup of Thierry Henry vs Brek Shea? Don't even try to tell me you're not on the Brad Davis for MVP band wagon. I know you are.
People still play soccer? God what a [expletive] boring game - right up there with tennis and golf.

he said that today even if there was a rainout. Said he wasn't going to change what he's done all season and that Harrison is his game 7 starter.

And while the Cardinals won a World Series in 2006, fans of the team have gone through more near-misses in NLCS's and World Series over the last 26 years than anyone else.
1985...three outs from a World Championship.
1987...one win away from a World Championship.
1996...one win away from a World Series.
2000...three wins away from a World Series.
2002...three wins away from a World Series.
2004...four wins away from a World Championship.

By my count, the Braves had 8 near misses in the NLCS and World Series over the same time span, and it was all between 1991 and 2001. Four series losses in each the NLCS and WS during that span.
