I'd bet that what is really going on is that he blamed the tree for Obama's victory.

Interesting to me it got as much press as it did. If David Freese were to never play another ML game he has still earned an obituary when he dies in 50-60 years. Wonder what that realization feels like.

After reading the article, I was disappointed she'd actually promote that story. It has zero facts other than those that point to Freese simply having an accident. But, sure, throw in some conspiracy theories supported by people of no particular relevance, remind everyone he used to drink and drive, and then say he was at a fundraiser the night before and wala, you can steer people to believing something bad happened and is being covered up.
It's a joke, really. If I was freese, I'd be pissed at Langosch for spreading that story. Especially since it takes facts and puts them in the backseat and puts stupid theories that sell stories in the front seat.

The real joke is David Freese still has a driver's license. Thank God he hasn't killed anyone yet.
I applaud the writer for getting the word out...No excuse for stupidity behind the steering wheel
