They didn't expect Jimbo Fisher to say no.
True. Wonder if he will again?
Will they ask? Or will they decide Petrino's due to dump Louisville again?

Text exchange with my UT loving cousin:

Me: Tennessee fans getting a little (re)excited about Vols after yesterday I imagine
Him: At halftime TN down 21 to 3 and ready to fire the coach. Now booking hotel rooms for the national championship game.
I've been ready to fire Butch so many times over the last few years...mainly after the OKIE and FL losses last year. And then every game this season in which they've almost sh*t the bed.

Hopefully this wakes them up and they start playing up to their talent.

My thoughts as well. Petrino would be stupid to leave louisville imo but you never know.

Since Saban took over at Bama, every other SEC team has replaced its coach at least once.

Petrino's buyout is $10 million. Then you gotta pay him.

Briles on the other hand has 0 buyout.

What's the story with Briles? Is he clear of all ncaa and/or legal violations?

I wouldn't think that there is NCAA jurisdiction. Then again I didn't think NCAA had any jurisdiction with Penn State either.

It's the NCAA; they'll claim jurisdiction even if they officially have none. They have enough power to get away with it.
