I don't know how many times it's ever happened, period. Even that awful Bobcats team that won like 10 games a few years ago had two 30 point scorers.

Surprising that the Clippers haven't had a single 30 point scorer this year since the team has a lot of stars with Griffin, Paul and Jordan.

The Atlanta Hawks team that won 60 games a few years ago only had one 30 point game.

Griffin has been recovering from surgery.
Paul is now down after thumb surgery.
Jordan isn't really a scorer and gets most of his action on pick and roll plays with CP3.

I think what's most surprising is that they haven't gotten there with all the injuries. You'd think with Griffin out, CP3 would have one of those nights. Or Crawford would be on fire one night and they'd feed him.

Austin "Coach's Kid" Rivers has knocked on the door of 30 a couple times this month. With CP3 out and a lot of the O running through him, he might break their 30-point cherry. Blake is back very soon if not tonight.

Young fella at my bar last night. 23 years old. Loves NBA. We had NBA on the TV. He starts pontificating loudly about Kevin Durant. Durant is a bad guy because Durant went to Golden State. Booo Durant he's killing the league because the league lost parity. What NBA exactly is it that he's pining for, where there was parity?

The NBA of the 1960s when the Celtics won 9/10?
The NBA of the early-late1980s when the Lakers won 5 and the Celtics won 3 out of 9?
The NBA of the late 80s-late 90s when the Pistons won 2, the Bulls won 6, and the Rockets won 2 only b/c Jordan stepped back?
The NBA of the 2000s when the Lakers won 4 and the Spurs won 2 and the Heat won 1 and then won 2 more in the early 2010s?

What halcyon days of the NBA are out there where there was incredible parity in the league and in the course of 10 years 8 different teams won the title?

I really hate this argument that Durant moving to GS kills the league because it suddenly makes the league uncompetitive. Other than the 1970s, it's never been a competitive league. There have always been elite, dynastic or semi-dynastic teams. The Lakers, Celtics, Spurs, Bulls have won almost two thirds of all NBA titles. Toss in four more teams--Warriors, Sixers, Pistons, Heat, and you have 8 teams who have won 56 out of 69 titles. That's insane imbalance. There's never been parity. I'm not saying the league could not be better if it were more competitive. It could. Just kill the salary cap and let the free market allow teams to buy a trophy here and there. But I'm so tired of the argument on TV, the radio, in print, and in talking with fans in which damning KD for something that's been a feature of the league for 60+ years is common.
