Darkly funny that this team is better than the 2025 team where ownership was at least nominally trying.

Last year’s team played at an 88-win pace for half the season. The not trying tends to show up over time. Mostly because the roster has no depth and lots of redundancies.

Burleson has gotten a bit better every single year. I know he was a second round pick, but I really don't remember him being touted as a big prospect. He's legit!

Underslot guy, he was considered a pick that allowed you to sign Walker and Tink Hence. Wasn't considered to be that level of player, but the Cardinals liked his hit tool and thought he could play the OF.
