Didn't read the article yet, but I came into the send off games thinking Klinnsman had lost his mind with Beckerman. I've been pleasantly surprised. He's very solid in the middle of the defense, and his presence has changed the way Jermaine Jones is able to play -- in a good way.

@ussoccer: #USMNT lineup: Howard; Johnson, Gonzalez, Besler, Beasley; Cameron, Bradley, Jones; Zusi, Dempsey (c), Bedoya

Okaaaaaayyy.

STRAIGHT UP WING BACKS, YALL.

Jurgen must see something.

If Fab and Beas actually can get forward, this could be genius.

Gonna see a lot of

---------------Omar--------------Besler
-------------------------Cam
Fab------------------------------------------Beas
----------------MB-------------JJ
Zusi---------------------------------------Bedoya
------------------------Deuce

That's straight up Mexico (with less attacking talent).

Strange lineup. I don't like Cameron in the middle if Bedoya is on the wing. But, as you said, it's dependent upon Beasley and Fabian Johnson making runs.

It's a 4-5-1.

Seems like if you are going to go with Cameron in Beckerman's spot, that you might consider Diskerud in Bedoya's. But... who am I to second guess Klinsman? I don't really know what I'm talking about. I just hope it works.

Prediction? I feel like I should make one because it's worked so far. But, I have no expectations coming into this game. We can win. I don't expect it. This is all just icing. US wins 1-1 on PK's.
