Probably so...after the Sox bailed on the Fielder talks it has been reported several times that Berkman was their next target. One would assume that the trade for Wallace was just a precursor to Berkman being moved. Although I read somewhere yesterday that the Stro's pulled Myers off the table because they didn't want to trade him. Which makes no sense at all since they are going into direct rebuild mode and Myers is a FA.
