Anyone else eaten here?

Overrated IMO.

No but tldr. Beginning was a massive waste of words and sounds like any serious chef ever. There have only been 187654 million of them.

I have not eaten at McCrady's, but I have eaten at his Husk outpost in Nashville and thought it was excellent. He does great things with grains and vegetables.

McCready's is good. I mean, Husk is good too, but I can name 5 other restaurants in Charleston I'd rather eat at that I don't need month long reservations to get a seat.

Yeah but there's such a long line at Cracker Barrel.

I've been to Nick and Nino's in Springfield, Lonzoratti's in Jacksonville, and the Main Course in Quincy. All are quality.

Based on the sorts of places listed I'm surprised they didn't include http://tomsplacedesoto.com

I ate at Three Flags Tavern and the burger is as good as advertised. $16 is pretty pricey for a burger and fries, but it's worth it if you're in the mood to splurge. After eating the burger, I realized that so many restaurants I go to fail at simple stuff like seasoning.

The french fries are good, but they don't have the texture of a great fry.

The lobster beignets are sensational, but one is plenty.

*Now I want to try Kounter Kulture, which of course opens after I leave the neighborhood.

*Sad to hear that Tortillaria is closing. Milagro and Mission Taco are better, but that place is still special to me.
