Zizzo was on the under 20 world cup team with Michael Bradley, Freddy Adu & Jozy Altidore (coincidentally Dax McCarty & Anthony Wallace too) and looked good too. Flamed out in Germany, but could still blossom in Portland.

You guys are great up front, good in goal but thin everywhere else. Good pieces to build around though.

Safe result for Madrid, classic Mourinho Champions League strategy but not exactly a statement game. They'll be fine at the Bernabeu though.

I went up to Seattle to watch an exhibition between Portland and Seattle. Fun times. Timbers 2-0 Sounders. But I also learned that Portland's Eddie Johnson isn't the Eddie Johnson I thought he was. He's a white guy. Kind of funny that the one guy I had heard of wasn't even the right guy.

Just got back from a cold weekend of my son playing soccer in Overland Park. We need a complex like that. 12 turf fields. Very nice.
