San Jose plays the winner of which series in the 2nd round???

There's a few different scenarios:

If the Wings and 'Nucks win, they play Detroit.

If the Wings and Stars win, they play Anaheim.

If the Flames win, they play the winner of Dallas/Vancouver.

After the 1st round is over they reseed.

SJ is a 5th seed and Anaheim is a 2nd seed.

If Detroit wins(1st seed) and Vancouver wins(3rd seed), it would be the 1st seed Detroit vs. 5th seed SJ and Vancouver(3rd) vs. Anaheim(2nd).

So basically, the best seed left plays the worst seed and the 2 middle seeds play.

Flames get smashed 5-1 in Detroit. Now series 3-2 lead for Detroit.

What the hell happens to the Flames when they play on the road?

2-0 Dallas late in the 3rd.

I would love for their to be a Game 7.

I'd love to see a Gm 7 between Dallas and Vancouver, as well.

Wish the Flames could pull their heads out on the road. Give Detroilet credit, though. They are a good, veteran team that has really picked up Zetterberg's lack of production.

Devils win today 3-2 and take the series 4-2.

Next round in the east:

Buffalo vs. NYR
Devils vs. Ottawa

Flames and Detroit going to OT tied at 1.
