Netflix was so slow last night I had trouble adding Highlander the Final Dimension and Farscape to my instant watch Queue.

similar to warts netflix problem, my internet in general has been awful. att dsl is the worst. its been acceptable until the last 2 1/2 months....normally i can game, stream, etc with no problem, but now its complete [expletive].

it can be amusing...through my xbox i can get certain espn content (because of a deal with att no less). so i was watching the cards game (this tuesday i believe it was) and the video and audio kept switching from 1 bar to 2 bars the entire time. i dont mind if its at 1 bar, but just stay at 1 bar 'cause obviously it can't handle 2 bars so dont make me wait for it to buffer and then have it go back to 1 bar 40 seconds later. but what makes it funny is that is completely destroys the audio so the commentators (sutcliffe, boone and some other guy) their voice would basically go up, like they were huffin on helium...it was especially enjoyable when tim kurkjian would come into say something, it got really high.

i know i should call in but im just dreading it...they are gonna give me all these bs things to do like "unplug the modem, then it will work!"...i [expletive] hate corporate call centers

Lately my modem doesn't seem to connect at the highest possible speed by itself. But if I go to its configuration page and reset it, it will reconnect at the top speed. Have you tried that? Maybe I need to get some more tinfoil, but it sure looks like AT&T is setting peoples modems to run at slower speeds when they don't notice it.

What kind of speeds are you guys getting? I switched from ATT to Charter because I couldn't really stream Netflix with any consistency and HD looked awful. Pretty happy with 26 down now for like $5 extra a month.

what do you mean by "configuration page"? i will definitely try it when im home. and YES i absolutely agree and i dont care if it makes me crazy, i think ATT is totally doing that. they've already said they will cap internet at 150GB (but i was under the impression they charge more, not reduce your speed).

ATT's speedtest gives me 2.0mbps down / .31 up......speedtest.net gives me 1.3 mbps down / .31 up...and i pay like 60$ for this [expletive]

My 4G has been spotty lately, I haven't been able to watch HBO Go on my commute home without waiting 30-40 seconds for buffering.
