Bernie says Punto is 4 for 14 v. Halladay, Jay is 1 for 11.

I guess the Punto thing at 2B isn't bad at all, really. But Skip in CF is... odd.

Skip has the best track record by the note cards against Halladay and Jay one of the worst. I do think this is a notecard call and perhaps even an recognition that Punto offers superior defense.

I think it's an infield defense call and the notecards are a nice excuse. It should really be Punto at 2B and Jay in CF, but that's how it should've been the whole time and there's no way Skip sits game 5.

Skip has been swinging the bat pretty well so far in the series. Maybe he's just locked in.

Skip plays really deep because he's a bad outfielder at this point. Hope it doesn't cost them some bloop hits.

He's never been a good outfielder, and I don't think he has any business in CF for this game, but whatever.

I wrote a note on the schedule saying that I needed to be off to observe Yom Kippur, but no one bought it apparently, so I won't be watching this one even though we'll be dead for two reasons tonight. At least Theo isn't going to a [expletive] baby shower.

Have no fear. Furcal's got mad range to shallow CF.

That's religious discrimination. Interested in a federal lawsuit?
