Now they're saying there's suspicion about his involvement in a drive-by shooting which left two men dead last year? That he was reportedly in an altercation at a night club before the drive-by? This guy's a monster. http://abcnews.go.com/US/aaron-hernande ... cxtqzvktuI

He's not arrogant, he's stupid. We're not exactly dealing with a criminal mastermind. With his profile/tatoos/etc... there's little chance he'd be able to run from the law.Socnorb11 wrote:AWvsCBsteeeerike3 wrote:It's easy for me to say this, not having to deal with any of the emotions and what not. I'm reminded of the scene from Rounders after they get caught cheating at the sheriffs game, get their asses kicked and their money taken. They're out in the parking lot and Worm says something like, It's time to hit the road, it's bye bye time.
I have no idea what kind of life that would be, how much money he has or what his options would even be. But, I've got to think he could have disappeared somewhere and lived a comfortable life in hiding. As opposed to jail.
I think he's probably arrogant enough to believe that he's untouchable.
I'll still be surprised if he convicted.

From what I've seen, he appears to be both. You don't kill a guy because he talked to someone that you don't like, unless you're arrogant (and stupid).

Or afraid he's gonna turn you in for a different murder you committed and you panic. It's about the first time it's made sense why he'd kill his girlfriends sister's boyfriend.Socnorb11 wrote:longhornbaseball wrote:He's not arrogant, he's stupid.Socnorb11 wrote:AWvsCBsteeeerike3 wrote:It's easy for me to say this, not having to deal with any of the emotions and what not. Hernandez now being investigated for a double homicide/drive by shooting about a year ago. And authorities believe it MAY have a connection with this murder as Lloyd may have found out about it...maybe that's who/what hernandez was pissed about lloyd talking about before the murder??
"Authorities are investigating the possible connection of former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez to a double murder that occurred in Boston last summer, multiple outlets reported, that might have something to do with the murder charge Hernandez faces in the death of 27-year-old semi-pro football player and friend Odin Lloyd."
"The case remains unsolved -- but might prove to be a motive for Hernandez's alleged involvement in the murder of Lloyd.
The Globe reported that investigators believe Lloyd, killed in a North Attleborough industrial park June 17 near Hernandez's home, might have had information about the deaths of Abreu and Furtado."

He is multiple time killer, I was originally calling for life in prison. But now I think he needs to get the needle.

Whoa there, buddy. Shouldn't he get a trial and a dog and pony show to get the facts out there first?JoeMcKim wrote:He is multiple time killer, I was originally calling for life in prison. But now I think he needs to get the needle.

I guess it doesn't matter anyways since Massachusetts has no capitol punishment anymore, so life in prison without the possibility of parole is the most that he can get.AWvsCBsteeeerike3 wrote:Whoa there, buddy.
