It's easy for me to say this, not having to deal with any of the emotions and what not. But, if Hernandez is guilty, and it looks like he was almost undeniably involved in some way, then why was he just sitting at home?

I'm reminded of the scene from Rounders after they get caught cheating at the sheriffs game, get their asses kicked and their money taken. They're out in the parking lot and Worm says something like, It's time to hit the road, it's bye bye time.

I have no idea what kind of life that would be, how much money he has or what his options would even be. But, I've got to think he could have disappeared somewhere and lived a comfortable life in hiding. As opposed to jail.

I think he's probably arrogant enough to believe that he's untouchable.

I'll still be surprised if he convicted.

He's not arrogant, he's stupid. We're not exactly dealing with a criminal mastermind. With his profile/tatoos/etc... there's little chance he'd be able to run from the law.

From what I've seen, he appears to be both. You don't kill a guy because he talked to someone that you don't like, unless you're arrogant (and stupid).

From what I've seen, he appears to be both. You don't kill a guy because he talked to someone that you don't like, unless you're arrogant (and stupid).

Or afraid he's gonna turn you in for a different murder you committed and you panic. It's about the first time it's made sense why he'd kill his girlfriends sister's boyfriend.

Hernandez now being investigated for a double homicide/drive by shooting about a year ago. And authorities believe it MAY have a connection with this murder as Lloyd may have found out about it...maybe that's who/what hernandez was pissed about lloyd talking about before the murder??

I guess it doesn't matter anyways since Massachusetts has no capitol punishment anymore, so life in prison without the possibility of parole is the most that he can get.
