Probably have watched 900 players this year, Cardinals scouts have.

Catcher specialist went out and saw all the top Catchers

Two pitching specialist to see the top pitchers and did the same with hitters.

Saw about 400 hitters and 600 pitching video and broke them down

Spent 4 hours talking about just signability this morning

Quite a few players on his unsignability list.

Every year he wants to get his fair share of catchers, be patient with catchers alot of wear and tear on them.

He said they are willing to pay over slot if they feel he is worth it.

Hadley sucks as an interviewer. He's babbling and talking too much without letting Luhnow respond.

Luhnow is very well-spoken, diplomatic, and even-keeled. This doesn't surprise me given that he worked for McKinsey for several years, and probably spent a good deal of time working with business executives and board members, who can be a tough crowd.
