Memphis lost 7-4 to the Albuquerque Isotopes. Blake Hawksworth gave up 5 runs (3 earned) over 5 innings with 3 strikeouts. Chris Lambert gave up 1 run over 2 innings. Mark Worrel pitched a scoreless inning with 2 strikeouts. Rick Ankiel was 1 for 4 with another homer. Box Log

Springfield won 5-3 against the Tulsa Drillers. That puts them at .500 for the season and .5 games out of first in the Texas league North division. Eric Haberer gave up 3 runs over 6 innings with 5 strikeouts. Matt Scherer, Jason Motte, and Chris Perez each pitched a scoreless inning. Perez struck out the side. Sean Danielson went 3 for 4 with a double and stolen base. I keep waiting for Danielson to cool off, but he’s been playing well for over 2 months now – he’s currently hitting .342 with an .830 OPS and has 11 stolen bases. Joe Mather went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. Bryan Anderson was 2 for 4. Box Log

Palm Beach won 2-0 against the Tampa Yankees. Tyler Norrick pitched 7 scoreless innings with 6 strikeouts. Kyle McClellan and Luke Gregerson each pitched a scoreless inning. Mark Hamilton was 1 for 3. Jose Martinez went 2 for 3 with a homer. Box Log

Quad Cities lost 2-1 to the Cedar Rapids Kernels. Brandon Dickson pitched 5 scoreless innings. Blake King gave up 1 run over 3 innings with 5 strikeouts. Christian Reyes went 1 for 3 with a double. Box Log
