I deleted twitter at the beginning of this month. It's been great for my head space.

Don't add unnecessary stress to your life, and if you can't self-regulate, removing it entirely is wise.

Maybe a break would be better? Social media, which this is, can be rough and time away can be a good thing. I know I got a message from 33 saying he was leaving as well. I appreciate both of your perspectives and I definitely understand how it can get heated. Hopefully after a little break you can both come back refreshed with clear heads and get back to posting.
