I wouldnt put much stock on today's performance since this is his first ST game.omaha_red wrote:i really don't want to see him become a cardinal next year..
he hasn't been right for a while..
yeah, but he wasn't even good last year.. at least the second half..DiLLaGii wrote:I wouldnt put much stock on today's performance since this is his first ST game.omaha_red wrote:i really don't want to see him become a cardinal next year..

I have to agree, he's not what he once was. He reminds me of a regressing Mark Mulder like we saw last year.omaha_red wrote:yeah, but he wasn't even good last year.. at least the second half..DiLLaGii wrote:I wouldnt put much stock on today's performance since this is his first ST game.omaha_red wrote:i really don't want to see him become a cardinal next year..

i guess this year will be an important one for him then.. see if he can rebound..Richie Allen wrote:I want him! Show me a pitcher (I'm sure they're out there but I think they're rare) that didn't have at least one "off" year.
Not saying I want the guy unless this year sees him turn it around from last year's performance... but Morris is 111-77 in 3 more years of ML service.lazypenguin wrote:In my opinion, Buehrle is one of the most over rated pitchers in the league. For the amount of praise that this guy seems to get, his numbers don't really support it. His career record is 97-66 with a 3.83 ERA. Medicore at best...
(As a very random side fact, Matt Morris has better career stats than this at 111-77 with a 3.79 ERA)
