A Case for the Pen?

Hawksworth has a line of
5 IP 4 h 0ER 1bb 2Ks
He may be making a case for the pen if Kinney is out for an extended period. Some may argue he needs the innnings in AAA but I for one would love to see him in Wainwrights role from a year ago... Either way he is having a teriffic start to the Spring.

That would be awesome to see him get Wain's role.
But it's very early in the Spring, so I'll reserve judgment on him until later.

If you make it a case of Yuengling Lager, you've got a deal!

I was going to discuss Hawksworth, but I got distracted by the beer.

Have any of the games he's pitched in been on TV? How does his stuff look?

Yep! That's what I'm talking about!
The only pen I have currently is this one. Will this work?

None of his games have been on yet but if he stays in line with Carp then we may get to see him on ESPN soon. ESPN has to show a Carpy start eventually. Anyone else like to see Hawk get a shot at the pen?

There's no way Hawksworth starts the year in the pen. His situation is totally different than Wainwright's was last year.]
Wainwright had spent 1.5 years in Memphis. He really had nowhere else to go and it was counter productive to keep him at the AAA level. Hawksworth hasn't pitched a game in AAA.
