More tickets released

Just thought I'd let you guys know that yesterday, the Cardinals released more tickets. I got outfield field box tickets to July 6th and July 7th (weekend games, one of them camera day) with no problem. If anyone was having trouble finding single game tickets, you might give the ticket office a call.

Have you ever been to Camera Day? Last year was my first. We couldn't get on the field due to wet conditions, but other than that it lived up to more than I expected. I figured some cheezy thing where a couple of guys walked out for a few minutes just to say they did it, but it was really terrific.

Just a hint - stand next to someone with a baby, particularly if it's dressed in Cardinal gear. Some players can't resist, and end up spending alot of time playing with the baby. I got some great shots of Pujols and Edmonds with that tactic.

I haven't but my Mom has (who I'm actually going with to the games). She got some great shots of Vina. That's a good idea about the baby...we'll have to try that. :D

It's a cheap ploy, but no harm no foul.

The team is notorious for doing this. Last year I would check the day of the game and some great seats are always released.

I bought into the whole "the season is sold out" BS last year and bought all my tickets early (some being not that great just so I could get them). I won't fall for that crap again this year.

I am selling positions to my left and right for anyone who wants to be near a baby (see avatar).

I knew a guy here at work in Chicago who bought tickets to a Cards/Cubs game in St. Louis late in the year about 2 weeks before the game. He got row 1, 35x something - right above the press box. Not bad for a weekend Cards/Cubs game that was sold out in March.
