22 HRs to go

Post by jimedmondsfan »

What will MLB do when BB hits #22 this year? Will it be a huge celebration? or will it be downplayed until the drug tests come back? I know the Giants will have a HUGE party and probably a parade for the guy, but MLB is ibetween a rock and a hard place on this one. (granted, I believe they put themselves in this position by not testing more and punishing positive tests harder).

If they celebrate too big, purist fans will be ticked. If they don't celelbrate enough, fans of BB will be furious. What would YOU do???

So essentially this applies to no one who lives outside of San Fran?

I am pretty torn between 3 and 4, but firing Selig is pretty important...

This really is a mess but I think MLB needs to celebrate this as if he was innocent.
It's just a celebration.

I think should treat it just as they did Aaron. MLB can't stick its nose up now when their complicity with the problem created it.

isn't the fact that MLB is considering doing nothing for this saying
that Bonds is guilty?

If I NEVAR hear the name Barry Bonds spoken again, it would be too soon.

I hope he falls one HR short of the record and is forced to retire from the game.

I'm a fan of Bonds. Always have been.

i said celebrate it, just nothin' crazy.

he still hasn't been convicted of anything, though im (we're) not naive.

kinda think the team/stadium that it happens in should determine what they are going to do. if in san fran, go nuts...if its in stl (or wherever, its up to the team to delay time for him)
