Me too, if only because it's absolutely insane.

With the way he has been hitting, something may have really clicked.

It's possible that he'll do well there I guess.

Is it just me or do others find something puzzling about a team with the politically incorrect name of Indians playing in a Civil Rights Game?

Oh sure, I hope so, it'd have been nice if he had done anything with the bat in winter ball though. It's just funny to see a lineup that goes Molina then Edmonds. It's an exhibition so whatever.

On another note, I think this game will be fun and I've been looking forward to it; but at this point I just wish that it was tomorrow already.

Great, the basketball game just went into overtime. Kurt Hinrich continues to make my life miserable.

MEMPHIS — Over the past week or so, when he was “having some trouble sleeping” or just wanted to scratch his lineup itch, manager Tony La Russa began noodling around with his batting order, putting pieces here, bats there. One name kept striking him as a middle-of-the-order hitter.

Hint: He was the best hitter in the playoffs.

Yadier Molina will hit fifth tonight in the Civil Rights Game against Cleveland and “you’ll probably see him there tomorrow, too,” La Russa said Saturday afternoon. With a hit Friday night in the Cardinals’ 6-2 victory against their Triple-A affiliate, Molina has six hits in his past nine at-bats. He entered Friday’s game having hit .381 in Florida with a .490 on-base percentage. He walked more times (eight) in 18 games in Florida than he did in any single month of last season. He had just 10 walks at Busch Stadium last summer.

La Russa said Molina has hit the best of anyone at spring.

That means he’ll go to the middle of the order tomorrow night against New York’s Tom Glavine, allowing Jim Edmonds to spend some time “getting his game together,” La Russa said, in the six spot.
