Not a pretty game. Fortunately there's another 161 games.

Not a pretty game at all. Game was actually closer than the score allows you to believe. Didn't hit that bad. 10 hits, could of had more if it wasn't for the Mets defense.
Mets defense = good.
Cards defense = not so good.
Mets are a good team. Probably the class of the NL. We were facing THE soft-tossing lefty in Glavine. Not suprised we lost.

I hate Paul Lo Duca with a passion. I hate his stupid plastic eyebrows and the fact that everything he hits is a rinky dink single that finds a hole.
But I'm dumbfounded by how Tony's insistence on going with Taguchi in left field and batting Molina fifth. There were things tonight that couldn't be helped, but Carpenter and the offense were downright lousy.

thats why there are 162 games in a year... you definately dont always look good when playing. I just find it funny that Taguchi flubbed some plays that a defensive outfielder should make, and then Wilson struck out and grounded into enough DP's....
not sure about everyone else out there but im sure JRod and Duncan could have done that
