Did anybody just see that play by Lee? Wild throw with Freel running to 1st, Lee barehands the ball off the wall to throw out Freel at 2nd.

Then the Cubs blow it by giving Dunn another HR.

Actually, break that apart and it makes sense.

He swings and misses at a lot of pitches. More than any player in baseball, as witnessed in large part by his gaudy K numbers each year.

But he's also very patient, and mostly swings at pitches mostly in the strike zone. He rarely expands his zone.

I guess the point would be, his contact percentage is very low. He knows what pitches are strikes and which one's aren't. He just has a lot of holes in his swing.
