He was nasty tonight. In terms of raw stuff, I guess this is what Carpenter looked like for the Blue Jays.

I don't know that Carp ever sat around 98 for entire games.

Sweet Mary. I can never get over how insane his stuff is. That low-90's two seamer has some serious bite, the four seamer seems to break to the side like an upper-90's slider, and the curve just falls straight out.

He may be the next great pitcher in this league. I'd still rather have Marquis though.
